Rovinj Crowned Champion of Croatian Tourism for 2019

Flights to Croatia: Korean Air Suspends Winter Service to Zagreb

October 3, 2019 - The latest news from around Croatia’s airports for new flights to Croatia with updates from Zagreb, Rijeka, and Zadar.  After Korean Air announced they would reduce the capacity between Seoul and Zagreb this winter, operating three weekly services on the 218-seat Airbus A330-200 aircraft, the airline has instead decided to discontinue the service this winter. Namely, Avio Radar and Ex Yu Aviation report that the Seoul-Zagreb service will not run this winter, though services will resume on April 1, 2020. No Ferry Connection to Silba from Tomorrow Until June 2020

As Morski writes on the 3rd of October, 2019, from Friday the 4th of October, 2019 until June the 1st, 2020, the ferry section of the port Silba (Žalić) will be closed for all maritime traffic due to the works on coastal rehabilitation. According to the information available, this means that there will be no ferry connections for Silba for the next eight months and that the connection to the mainland will be maintained by catamaran lines alone, according to HRT Radio Zadar. Varazdin, Medjimurje, Koprivnica-Krizevci Counties to Introduce Integrated Passenger Transport

October 2, 2019 - Medjimurje, Varazdin, and Koprivnica-Krizevci Counties will be the leaders of integrated passenger transport in Croatia.  HRTurizam reports that in cooperation with the Varazdin, Medjimurje and Koprivnica-Krizevci counties and Croatian Railroads (HZ), and as part of the "Integrated Passenger Transport (IPP)" project by the Railway Association, an agreement was signed at the beginning of the year for the "Integrated Passenger Transport Master Plan". Dubrovnik Airport Resumes Expansion Project

September 29, 2019 - Dubrovnik Airport continues with its expansion project after it completed the overhaul of its 3,300-meter runway earlier this year. Dubrovnik Airport was the fastest-growing airport in the former Yugoslavia from January to August this year after it added 240,016 travelers compared to the year before. Namely, Dubrovnik Airport welcomed 2,099,022 passengers, which is an increase of 12.9% on 2018.  Thus, it only makes sense that the busy airport would need to continue making adjustments to its infrastructure.
