Golden Pen Award Goes to Le Figaro for the Article on Sinj Alka

The 12th annual Golden Pen award for the best promotion of Croatia by foreign tourism journalists took place last week in Split.

There are 3 categories: best printed material, best TV report and best blog. Together 27 journalists from 15 countries were nominated and they all got a Certificate of Appreciation. Director of the Split - Dalmatia County Tourist Board Joško Stella was pleased with the positive marketing effect of the event, informs Radijo Dalmacija.
 
The Golden Pen award for the best printed material received reporters of the "Le Figaro" magazine Jean Louis Tremblais and Eric Martin, who made a six-pages long article about Sinj Alka, as the oldest tournament on the European continent.
 
Beate Hofener from Germany was awarded for her TV report on Istria and a young Polish couple Agnieszka Kolasinska Tylus and Wojciech Tylus got the award for the their blog about exploring Croatia.
