Prime Minister: There Will Be Accountability for Any Possible Wrongdoings

ZAGREB, May 13, 2018 - Prime Minister and Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) president Andrej Plenković said on Sunday that light would be shed on all issues regarding the email correspondence between Economy Minister Martina Dalić and consultants and lawyers who worked on Lex Agrokor, and that if there was any wrongdoing, he would ask for responsibility.

ZAGREB, May 10, 2018 - There was no time for another option, Prime Minister Andrej Plenković told reporters who asked him if it was necessary to have the same people who drafted the so-called Lex Agrokor now implement the law and make millions, which is evident from the e-mails which Deputy Prime Minister Martina Dalić exchanged with consultants and lawyers during the process of drawing up the said legislation.

ZAGREB, May 9, 2018 - After Deputy Prime Minister Matina Dalić's correspondence with consultants and attorneys who worked on preparing the law on systemic companies dubbed Lex Agrokor was released by the Index.hr news website on Wednesday, Prime Minister Andrej Plenković said that experts were consulted so that a solution could be found as soon as possible to prevent Agrokor's uncontrolled bankruptcy and that everything was done in agreement with the government's then coalition partners from MOST, stressing that Dalić continues to enjoy his support.
