Goran Šafarek, a Croatian scientist, photographer, and filmmaker has launched a crowdfunding campaign for another extremely worthwhile project that aims to protect and promote Croatian rivers.
The educational campaign “Tourist in your town” will be held on March 4, 2017.
A petition has surfaced on the Facebook feeds of many throughout Croatia urging signatures to stop the construction of the thermoelectric power plant on Peruća Lake located in inland Dalmatia.

Tourist Board Trilj has organized the 7th annual “Race to the Cetina” (Utrku na Cetini) which will take place on Sunday, July 17th.
On June 18 and 19, the Second Horse Caravan of Summer ‘95 was held in Sinj. This event was organized by the Association of minor Homeland War in Split-Dalmatia County and co-organized by the Equestrian Club of St. Michael, under the auspices of the Ministry of Veterans, and with the support of the Split-Dalmatia County Tourist Board of Sinj, the Trilj Tourist Board, the city of Sinj and the Municipality of Hrvace.
