Croatia Preparing for EU Summit with Western Balkans Countries

Fighters from Bosnia Taking Part in Conflicts in Syria and Iraq

ZAGREB, April 14, 2018 - At least 76 nationals of Bosnia and Herzegovina, including women and children, have been killed in war zones in Syria and Iraq in the last few years, and 16 of those who have returned to the country are currently serving prison terms, local media said on Friday.

Bosnian Leaders Deny Allegations of Islamic Radicalisation

ZAGREB, April 10, 2018 - Bosniak political parties and associations, together with the Islamic community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, strongly believe that the country can function only as a secular state and resolutely deny accusations that their real plan is to establish an Islamic state – this is the key message of a meeting the chair of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency Bakir Izetbegović held in Sarajevo on Tuesday with prominent Bosniak officials and leaders of cultural and non-governmental organisations and the leader of the Islamic community Husein Kavazović.

Plenković Discusses Bosnia's Election Legislation and EU Bid

ZAGREB, April 10, 2018 - Croatia's Prime Minister Andrej Plenković and the Croat member of the Bosnia and Herzegovina tripartite presidency Dragan Čović held talks in Mostar on Tuesday and on that occasion they expressed expectations that the ruling of Bosnia's Constitutional Court on amending the election legislation would be implemented in a timely fashion to ensure the full equality of all the three constituent peoples in the country.

Croatian Prime Minister to Visit Mostar

ZAGREB, April 9, 2018 - Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković will pay a two-day visit to Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and on Monday he will attend the formal opening of the office of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce whereas on Tuesday he will attend the opening ceremony of the 21st International Economy Fair in that biggest town in Herzegovina, the Croatian government stated in a press release on Sunday.

Croatian Foreign Minister Visits Bosnia
