Israeli Jets to Join Operation Storm Celebrations

ZAGREB, August 3, 2018 - The landing in Croatia of the F-16 Barak fighter jets which will fly over Knin on Victory Day on Sunday confirms the military partnership with Israel and that the strategic decision to procure Israeli fighter jets was the right one, it was said on Thursday at Pleso military air base when top Croatian political and military leaders welcomed representatives of Israel's Air Force.

Israel: Croatia Has Moral Obligation to Deal with Past

ZAGREB, July 25, 2018 - The Ustasha regime was one of the horrible regimes of Nazi collaborationists in this region and an active partner in the killing of dozens of thousands of Jews, Serbs, Roma and other opponents to the Independent State of Croatia (NDH), Israeli President Reuven Rivlin said on Wednesday in Jasenovac, adding that Croatia has the moral obligation to deal with the past as it is the foundation of every just society and an important element of its friendship with Israel.

Croatian and Israeli Presidents Discuss Ties and Historical Issues

American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) to Meet in Dubrovnik

ZAGREB, July 10, 2018 - Croatian Parliament Deputy Speaker Milijan Brkić, who visited Jerusalem for a conference which the Knesset organised for chairs of parliamentary groups of friendship with Israel, has announced a gathering of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), to be held in the Croatian city of Dubrovnik this autumn, according to a press release issued by the Croatian parliament on Tuesday.

Defence Minister Meets with Israeli President, Counterpart

ZAGREB, July 4, 2018 - During his official visit to Israel, Croatian Defence Minister Damir Krstičević met his Israeli counterpart Avigdor Lieberman in Tel Aviv on Tuesday and on that occasion Krstičević said that the two countries were strengthening their strategic partnership, and their long-term political and economic cooperation would pave the way for new investments that would impact the development of Croatia's defence industry and entire economy.

Defence Minister Inspects Purchased Fighter Jets in Israel

ZAGREB, July 3, 2018 - On the second day of his official visit to Israel, Croatian Defence Minister Damir Krstičević visited Ramat David Airbase in the north of the country, saying that it was very important that the Israelis share their valuable knowledge and experience with Croatian pilots and aircraft repair and maintenance personnel, the Defence Ministry said in a statement on Monday evening.
