Croatia Supports US Operation in Syria

ZAGREB, April 14, 2018 - Croatia supports its partners and allies in efforts to prevent any further use of chemical weapons in Syria and protect the civilian population there, the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs said in a statement on Saturday, after three Western countries launched airstrikes at chemical weapons facilities in Syria in response to the chemical attack on Douma on April 7.

Commemoration for US Commerce Secretary Ron Brown Held in Dubrovnik

ZAGREB, April 3, 2018 - A commemoration was held in the Ronald Brown Memorial House in the southern Adriatic city of Dubrovnik on Tuesday marking the 22nd anniversary of the death of U.S. Secretary of Commerce Ronald H. Brown and 34 other passengers aboard the U.S. airplane Boeing 737 which crashed on 3 April 1996 en route from Tuzla to Dubrovnik.
