Joško Stella, director of the Tourist Board of Split-Dalmatia County, comments on the upcoming tourism projects this year.
The Tourist Board of Split - Dalmatia County has organized, in cooperation with the agency AdProfis, a cycle of free education classes in order to increase the sales of tourism products with the help of Internet marketing. The trainings are designed for travel agencies and small family hotels.
Speakers Tanja Vuković and Marina Kovačević, experts in Internet advertising with over 10 years experience, are to hold a series of classes in an effort to enhance the tourist offer of Split-Dalmatia County.
Selectair is the commercial association of independent Belgian travel agencies. For their annual congress this year, they have chosen Split and Split-Dalmatia County as the congress location for the first time, reports Dalmacija News.
Split-Dalmatia County in September 2016 broke tourism records. In the first 9 months, there was an increase in the number of overnights and arrivals by 10%, with the highest score in Croatia achieved in nautical tourism, reported local tourism chiefs at a press conference at Hotel Park in Split on October 6, 2016.
At Samoleč in Trilj, a Roman road was opened for the public today, informs Ferata.hr. The road was open by the MP and Mayor of Trilj Ivan Šipić, accompanied by the Director of the Split-Dalmatia County Tourist Board Joško Stella, project manager Lino Ursić, Director of the Trilj tourist board Andrijana Ivković and the Director of the Trilj Museum Angela Tabak.
