Constitutional Amendment on Referendums Presented

ZAGREB, May 26, 2018 - Social Democratic Party (SDP) MP Peđa Grbin on Friday told reporters that his party had collected the signatures of 50 parliamentarians and submitted a draft constitutional amendment to parliament regulating in detail the issue of referendums.

Opposition Puts Forward Motion to Dissolve Parliament

ZAGREB, May 18, 2018 - Parliament on Friday included a motion by the Social Democratic Party (SDP) for parliament to be dissolved. The SDP claims that, in the wake of former deputy prime minister Martina Dalić's resignation, circumstances have emerged for citizens to be allowed to go to a snap election and decide on a new parliament which will elect a new government.
