The spring and summer edition of the most important fashion event, Montura Split Fashion Destination, will be taking place on May 28th and 29th at an interesting new location - in the hall of the Split shipyard.

In 2015, Splićani were lucky enough to witness one of the last concerts between arguably the largest Croatian singer-songwriter, composer and poet Arsen Dedić, and his son Matija, a world renowned pianist. After Arsen’s passing in August of 2015, this event was made even more remarkable, memorable, and important for the arts and music in Split.

On Sunday, May 22nd at Sustipan, Lea Loncar will be hosting one hour of Vinyasa Yoga. The session will begin promptly at 18:00.

15 years of laughter, tears, ups and downs, jokes, exhibitions, workshops, lectures, beers and spirits brings us to where Kocka is today. As an extension of their appreciation, the Coalition of Youth Association (Kocka) are closing another stellar season with a bang - and on May 21st, at 10pm, three bands across different musical genres will bring you through an audio adventure, and absolutely ensure your listening pleasure.

On May 21st, from 9am-1pm, Strossmayer Park will be hosting a Day of Volunteer Work. Organized by the Volunteer Center Association "MI", you will be able to support by contribution, or purchase the handicrafts of one of the many associations present at Strossmayer. Event is from 9am-1pm. 

After two months of shows, 18 bands from throughout the region, and 6 seperate nights hosted at Split Circus, tonight we have reached the finale for Inkubator. This evening brings us the three remaining bands, two of which will be finalists, the third as the third runner up. The bands left are Feredon from Dubrovnik, Pale Blue from Split, and Tvrtko Stijena from Kastela.

Like we’ve mentioned before, the music scene in Split is booming. On any given night you can head out to see live music at any of the various venues we have scattered around Split, and there are often music showcases held that exhibit Split and Dalmatia’s latest talents. With an active audience and ever growing music loving crowd, Split is surely becoming the new normal for musicians in Croatia.

The people of Split (or Splićani as we like to call them) like to drink. They like their drinks hot, cold, mixed, and everything in between. Therein lies Sanctuary, Split’s first dedicated sports, cocktail, and whiskey bar. Having opened in March of 2016, Sanctuary is quickly becoming a staple for cocktail enthusiasts, and is surely paving the way for craft cocktail rookies.

Last night the well dressed and artistic crowd of Split were out, and they were hungry for some art. With the perfect spring evening to set the tone under a twilight lit sky, Neno Mikulić presented his newest exhibition, “Uroboros” in the old city hall of Split in the piazza. The exhibition featured paintings, drawings, and sculptures, and art enthusiasts enjoyed champagne and small bites to make for a perfect gallery opening.
