From June 17th-18th in Prokurative, there will be an organic products exhibition and eco fair called “Eko Fjera”. The event will go from 9h-23h on both days, and is open to all interested parties!

The award-winning Split born cinematographer Mirko Pivčević is hosting a workshop at Klub Kocka this Saturday as part of a daily program put on by this year’s Split Spot Festival. The workshop will be about lighting design and is open to all professionals, enthusiasts and those who just want to learn something new about lighting in photography and camerawork.

queerANarchive invites you to qRADIONICE, a series of workshops and events held from May 25th to 29th at Dom Mladih (Youth House). The program includes workshops in screenprinting, skateboarding, crocheting and bowling, and is organized in partnership with Cenzurom+, Teseraktom and Flomaster, all carried out by the Split Forum. Workshops will take place in and around the Youth House (Dom Mladih) and in park Zvončac. This event is open to anyone who wants new experiences, to learn different skills, and most importantly to send a positive message about the importance and protection of human rights

The Croatian National Theatre (Hrvatsko narodno kazalište Split - HNK Split) is working in unison with the town of Hvar, organizing a series of events in Hvar on May 27th and 28th, as well as a final event on June 4th. For the event titled "Dani HNK Split u Hvaru" (Days of HNK in Hvar), the town of Hvar will be serving its guests, locals, and tourists with a cultural treat to kick off the summer season. Set in unique theatrical history, you won’t want to miss this!

Some people see the Split way of life as boring, often using phrases like, “this town is dead!” and “I don’t know what I'm going to do with myself”. Therein lies “Ubijmo Dosadu”, Split’s anti-boredom campaign translating roughly to “let’s kill boredom”. This week’s workshop is happening on Thursday, May 26th, beginning promptly at 2pm at Katalinko.

The program for Split Spot Festival has been released! The festival begins on Friday, May 27th, showing the first half of a series of music video clips up for nomination and continue with concerts by Rezerve and Gatuzo. On Saturday May, 28th the program will include a display of the second half of nominees, the awards show, and concerts by Rolo and Laka. The festival will be held at Tvrđava Gripe.
