The filming of the Hollywood hit made Vis the center of attention this summer.

A promising initiative for Vis island and its natural treasures 

On Sunday 4^th December 2017, the first boats crossed the finish line in Komiža for the Saint Nicholas Regatta; Bruno Gjidera and Darko Prižmić onboard sailboat Munjek F (M 34) were declared the winners of the regatta.

The 16^th St. Nicholas Regatta begins Sunday 3^rd December. Here to tell us about it is Lari Lulić – the newest member to the growing TCN team. Lari is a professional journalist holding a Master’s degree in journalism; for the last 10 years, he has been ‘learning the ropes’ in the sailing world, covering sailing events, the boating industry and all manner of topics related to the yachting world and tourism. 'Tis the season to be jolly! Not on the islands, though. 

Moving away from traditional dishes (as such), this week we are penning an article about our seasonal friends – lemons, mandarins and pomegranates.

From the 20^th – 22^nd October 2017, the 73^rd annual Vis Regatta will take place.

The famous Irish actor Pierce Brosnan joins the Pantheon of Hollywood names arriving on Vis island, where the filming of 'Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again!' is currently taking place.

We have announced the upcoming underwater photography cup that's about to take place in the waters of Biševo island near Vis months ago, but it doesn't hurt to remind everyone that the popular manifestation is finally around the corner!

The islands of Vis and Lastovo can soon become great examples of responsible water management for all European islands.
