NordStar Airlines Connecting Moscow and Pula

By 10 April 2016

Russian carrier re-establishes a charter flight between Croatian city of Pula and Moscow starting May 28.

More good news regarding the arrival of Russian tourists came from Moscow on April 9, 2016. After a successful 2015 season, Russian air-carrier NordStar Airlines has decided to run its charter flights between Pula and Moscow Domodedovo again in 2016.

Flights will operate twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Departure from Moscow is at 6:10 AM and the flight from Pula is at 9 AM.

It is a three-hour flight and passengers will be flying in a Boeing 737 – 800 from May 28 until September 24.

As Total Croatia News previously reported, minister of tourism Anton Kliman is in talks with the Ministry of foreign affairs to simplify the visa procedure forRussian guests and with all the new flight announcements, it seems we can be optimistic and say that Russians will be returning to Croatia in larger numbers this summer. Direct flight to Pula is extremely important considering that the largest drop in Russian tourists was recorded in Istria over the last two years so this is a great way to come at least close to the pre-EU and pre-crisis numbers.
