It is not just the Adriatic coast which is benefitting from new flight announcements in Croatia.
The summer flight announcements for Croatia's coastal airports of Dubrovnik, Split, Zadar and Pula are coming thick and fast, but capital Zagreb is also becoming an important tourism entry point, as the city's own tourism is blossoming, and airlines are responding to that need, reports Aerocroatia on November 17, 2015.
After a break of several years, Czech Airlines will resume flights between Prague and Zagreb in 2016, with the first scheduled flight taking place on April 28, while Spanish low-cost carrier Vueling is increasing the frequency of its flights to Barcelona, including the introduction of one-off flights over the Christmas and Easter holiday periods.
