One of the world's largest online travel agencies, Expedia, is hosting its first cycle of training for small-scale tourist facilities under the Expedia Road Show in Istria.
The education is intended for small facilities with six or more units who are not currently cooperating with Expedia. In addition to the presentation of the Expedia business model at the road show, there will be talks about the importance of online communication, the importance of recognition and visibility online, online promotions, and how to quality manage multiple online channels, reports HRTurizam on February 27, 2017.
"With small accommodations it is very important to have a personal approach, and for this reason we decided to do three workshops in Istria (Novigrad, Vrsar, Pula) each through direct communication. Because it is very important, there will be a team of four people from Expedia who will be available to participants in order to answer any individual questions with quality and without haste," says Nina Kleiner, Area Manager East Adriatic from Expedia. Kleiner added that the Expedia Road Show is open to any anyone who has accommodations with six or more units.
The Expedia Road Show began yesterday in Novigrad and continues on Wednesday in Vrsar and on Thursday in Pula. Expedia also said that the road show will definitely take place in Dalmatia and other parts of Croatia as well.
“We want to introduce our company through our model of long-term cooperation to all of our future partners, which must always be to the mutual satisfaction. Expedia has very selectively placed objects, which means that we see there is enough demand to add a new product, and our quality is very important - so for that reason there are still a lot of smaller units we have yet to know about,” concluded Kleiner from Expedia.
