Recommendations from the European Tourism Commission for Croatia.
In response to the posed question "which new destination will you visit this year?" in the January edition of its Europe Magazine, the European Tourism Commission (ETC) recommended Croatia as a must-visit holiday destination in 2018.
Alongside 20 other European destinations (among which are whole countries, cities and regions), Croatia is represented as a country that is unique in many ways, with its rich cultural and historical heritage, beautiful beaches, sea, rivers, mountains, lakes and very attractive and popular music and film festivals.
Among the other destinations recommended for this year are Slovakia, Wallonia in southern Belgium, Romania, Switzerland, the Spanish city of Seville, Latvia, Tivoli Gardens in Denmark, Portugal, Monaco, Estonia, the city of Antwerp in Flanders-Belgium, the Czech Republic with five cities, Poland, Slovenia, the Austrian city of Vienna, Germany, Montenegro and Ireland, which they say is the top region for 2018, and Greece.
