The Tourist Board of Vrlika is pleased to inform you that theatre play Cinco and Marinko will return to Vrlika!
Cinco and Marinko, written by Mate Matišić, will be held in Vrlika on July 8, 2017, at 21:00 at Franje Tuđman square.
Cinco and Marinko is a comedy about two guest workers who are suffering immensely for their homeland and their loved ones. The two would forge the wildest plans to return home, using every scenario from using false documents when crossing the border to staging their own deaths and journeys into the coffin, all in hopes that the foreign pension would be sufficient enough for lifelong happiness with their beloved wives.
Imbued with black humor and lessons about survival, the show has achieved outstanding success in Yugoslavia and its release to date has been conducted more than seventy times.
