Closer Ties Between Rimac Automobili and Porsche: ''We Believe in Mate''

Croatian entrepreneur Mate Rimac's famed company Rimac Automobili has secured an increase in investment from Porsche, seeing Porsche raise its stake in the company to 15.5 percent. As Poslovni Dnevnik writes on the 6th of September, 2019, back in June 2018, the giant German sports car maker purchased a 10 percent stake in Rimac Automobili. Increasing Porsche's stake now strengthens their already established partnership. 3. Maj Shipyard Workers Could Get Overdue Salaries Next Week

ZAGREB, September 5, 2019 - Economy Minister Darko Horvat said on Thursday the workers of the 3. Maj shipyard could get their first overdue salaries next week and that the dock's management last night signed a 36.6-million-dollar contract to build a ship for Canada's Algoma. Speaking to the press ahead of a cabinet meeting, the minister said the payment of overdue salaries would be preceded by an agreement the dock and the Croatian Shipbuilding Corporation - Jadranbrod (HB-J) company were expected to sign early next week. Government for Pay Rise for Everyone

ZAGREB, September 5, 2019 - Labour and Pension System Minister Josip Aladrović said on Thursday the government advocated a horizontal pay rise for everyone and not just some groups. Speaking to the press before a cabinet meeting, he said there had been several horizontal corrections, with a 11.5% pay rise for everyone over the past two years. "We expect, with a further pay rise and positive economic trends, to correct (wages) for everyone, not just some selected groups." Agrokor Suppliers Will Take Legal Action So Settlement Is Honoured

ZAGREB, September 5, 2019 - Agrokor's suppliers will take legal action so that the settlement reached for the former conglomerate is honoured, the representative of big suppliers in the Temporary Creditor's Council, Marica Vidaković, said on Wednesday, adding that no agreement had been reached with Fortenova Group on the payment of the border debt and that this was why suppliers were against refinancing a roll-up loan. Value of Croatian Agricultural Production Drops Significantly
