Oil and Gas from Dinarides Would Reduce Energy Dependency

ZAGREB, September 11, 2019 - Minister of Environment and Energy Tomislav Ćorić said on Wednesday that he was satisfied with the interest shown in a tender for oil and gas exploration in the Dinarides and assessed that possible exploitation would reduce Croatia's energy dependency and fill the state and local budgets. Finance Minister Not Neglecting Teachers or Other Public Services

ZAGREB, September 11, 2019 - In negotiations on wage increases for healthcare workers the government is not neglecting teachers or other public-sector workers, Finance Minister Zdravko Marić told reporters ahead of an inner-cabinet meeting on Wednesday. "We are not neglecting teachers or other services. We will continue talks. The situation is specific in that the collective agreement for teachers lasts for another three years while that for healthcare workers has expired. Croatian Companies Obtain Funds to Digitise and Improve Competitiveness

Several Croatian companies have received an impressive sum of money for the development of ICT projects which will see their business improved. One Bid Received for Gas and Oil Exploration in Dinarides

Young Farmers to Receive Millions in Support

ZAGREB, September 9, 2019 - The Paying Agency for Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development on Monday signed 146 new agreements worth a total of 45.7 million kuna intended for young farmers. The agreements were concluded within the EU-funded scheme for young farmers. Attending the ceremony, Agriculture Minister Marija Vučković underscored the ministry's priority in the generational renewal of farms and rural areas.
