Value of Croatian Fiscalised Receipts Exceeds Pre-Pandemic 2019 by 9%

October the 20th, 2021 - Croatian fiscalised receipts and their amounts have provided much more than a mere glimmer of hope following an uncertain and difficult economic period, with the values exceeding that of pre-pandemic, record 2019. Aladrović: New Labour Act to Regulate Platform Work, Reduce Unfair Competition

ZAGREB, 20 October, 2021 - The new Labour Act will regulate platform work and will seek to reduce all forms of precarious work, undeclared work and unfair competition, Labour and Pension System Minister Josip Aladrović said in an interview with the HRT public broadcaster on Tuesday evening. ZSE Indices Decrease Slightly Amid Increased Turnover

ZAGREB, 18 Oct 2021 - The main Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) fell on Monday amid increased turnover, with the Crobex dropping by 0.26% to 2,042.40 points and the Crobex10 decreasing by 0.14% to 1,244.38 points. Regular turnover amounted to HRK 9.6 million, or HRK 3.5 million more than on Friday. The highest turnover, of HRK 2.3 million, was generated by the stock of the Tankerska Next Generation shipping company. Its price dropped by 1.41% to HRK 42 per share. Businesses in Bakery Industry Report Revenue of HRK 4.5 bn in 2020

ZAGREB, 18 Oct 2021 - In 2020, there were 914 businesses in Croatia's grain-based food industry, and they employed over 15,000 workers and earned HRK 4.5 billion, according to data provided by the Finance Agency (FINA). Those businesses, specialized in producing grain-based foods that may include bread, cakes, pies, pastries, and similar foods, saw a 2% drop in the headcount to 15,121. The bakery industry's revenues of HRK 4.5 billion contracted by 6.1% compared to 2019, and its expenditure also dropped by 4.5% to HRK 4.34 billion. Strategy Envisages €7.5 Billion of Investments in Agriculture in Next 10 Years
