Council of Europe Anti-Corruption Conference Starts in Šibenik

ZAGREB, October 15, 2018 - The Croatian Chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe (CoE), the Group of States against Corruption (GRECO) of the CoE and the Croatian Ministry of Justice have organised an international conference on ways of strengthening transparency and accountability in the public and private sectors to combat corruption, which is taking place in the coastal city of Šibenik on 15 and 16 October.

Investigative File on HDZ Deputy Leader Brkić Goes Missing

ZAGREB, October 5, 2018 - After a special meeting of the parliamentary Home Affairs and National Security Committee held on Thursday following allegations of an information leak and abuse of the legal system, Chief State Prosecutor Dražen Jelenić said the municipal office of the Chief State Prosecution at this moment did not have the file from 2011 about busting a prostitution ring, stressing however there were no cover-ups.

ZAGREB, September 28, 2018 - Representatives of the GONG election monitoring NGO on Friday presented the Mosaic of Connections, an online tool for researching connections between politically prominent persons as well as their connections with other legal and physical persons via information from public authorities' registers and data bases.
