Spectacular! Meet Hvar's New 2018 Breathtaking Wine Experience

By 17 February 2018

The island of Hvar has an incredible wine story dating back 2,400 years. And increasingly, it has the wine tasting experiences to match its rich heritage. Meet the latest on February 17, 2018.

Just when you thought you knew all about the Hvar wine scene...

Hvar is one of Croatia's most interesting wine destinations. Home to several indigenous grape varieties only grown on the island. the only Master of Wine making wine in Croatia, Croatia's leading boutique winemaker, the only Croatian wine served in a 3-star Michelin restaurant in Holland, and a host of other diverse wine attractions, the last few years has seen the island's wine tourism blossom, with several outstanding wine experiences. This includes the most popular, the Romanesque cellars of Andro Tomic, the candlelit intimacy of Ivo Dubokovic's konoba, and winetasting below sea level with Zlatan Otok in Sveta Nedjelja. Added to these has been the recent opening of the Caric konoba on the canal in Vrboska.

And now this!

Exclusive to Hvar Wine Tours, this new addition to the Hvar wine tourism scene is sure to be a hit, just one of many new initiatives coming from the innovative boutique tourism agency, which takes tourists where others do not venture. We will have much more on this special speedboat winetasting experience shortly, but for now just enjoy these two photos and dream of summer on Hvar.
