Islands

As if Hvar was not blessed with enough beauty, one can also choose from a series of islands off its coastline.  Best known of these of course are the Pakleni Islands, a set of emeralds in the azure sea opposite Hvar Town. They include naturist Jerolim, the ACI marina at Palmižana and an island the mayor offered to rename Facebook!

Close to Vrboska is another gem, the naturist island of Zečevo, while tourists in Zavala should take the opportunity to discover the island of Šćedro, complete with its old monastery.
