TOMIĆ WINERY
Tomić Winery is located in the bay of Mina in Jelsa, a place with a long wine tradition. Today, Tomić produces 130-150 000 bottles a year and, together with Tomic's family members, they employ another 10 Hvar citizens. Tomić uses modern technology for the production of their whites and reds, and their young rose wines are continually improving. On the floor of the winery there is a space for fermentation with new stainless steel tanks, and in the basement of the winery, there are barrique barrels of Plavac maturation. In the basement, there is also a tasting room built on the pattern of Diocletian's basement.
