We will stay a bit on the south side of the island, as there are several very beautiful places within the Jelsa municipality, which are worth your attention. Zavala is one of them.
To reach Zavala, there is the charming Pitve-Zavala tunnel. Fortunately the lights are working, so getting through is rather smooth, although it can take a while. The reward for waiting in the line will be rather sweet. The south side of the island will leave you speechless.

Beautiful pebble beaches, a variety of options for renting a place, great restaurants and a possible boat trip to the Šćedro island make it one of the best destinations on the island.

Be sure to visit Zavala´s restaurants - Skalinada, Stella Mare or Davor (fresh fish would be my choice) or use some of the wellness services of the Skalinada team - their Wine Therapy sounds interesting.
