Consultations on Bosnian Election Law Bring No Results

ZAGREB, May 24, 2018 - Legal experts of the Council of Europe's Venice Commission on Thursday wrapped up consultations with representatives of political parties in Bosnia and Herzegovina about possible amendments to the election law without any concrete results but with a tentative agreement to continue talks at the start of June, at the level of party presidents.

Parliamentary Diaspora Committee on Bosnian Election Law

ZAGREB, May 11, 2018 - The parliamentary committee for Croats abroad on Thursday held a meeting on the status of Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina and that country's European journey, with the committee's chairman Božo Ljubić saying that Croatia has to take a more active stance toward Bosnia and Herzegovina, underscoring the importance of amending the election law in Bosnia and Herzegovina before October's elections.

Croatia to Award Scholarships to Diaspora Students

ZAGREB, April 29, 2018 - The State Office for Croats Abroad has awarded 500 scholarships for the 2017/2018 academic year for Croatian students coming from abroad, 100 of which are for study courses in Croatia and 400 for courses in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Parliament Debates Cooperation with Diaspora in Latin America
