Operators Warn Unprofitable Bus Lines May Be Abolished

ZAGREB, January 13, 2020 - Unprofitable bus lines operated by private companies inside counties and between counties have not yet been abolished, and problems faced by these companies remain, the head of the association of private companies providing bus services, Hrvoje Meštrović, said on Monday. Meštrović told Hina that all options were on the table, including scrapping loss-making lines. Members of that association cover 80% of bus commuting service across counties. Flights to Croatia: Air France Boosts Service between Paris and Zagreb

January 12, 2020 - The latest news from around Croatia’s airports for new flights to Croatia with updates from Zagreb, Dubrovnik, and Split. Ex Yu Aviation reports that Air France announced that it is boosting its service between Paris and Zagreb, adding a second daily flight for this summer. Kastelir-Labinci in Istria Plans to Double Tourism Within Five Years

January 10, 2020 - A number of new hotels will open in Croatia this year. A look at five unique luxury hotels that should open this spring or at the start of the tourist season.  According to the eVisitor system, more than 1,170 hotels with about 172,000 beds are registered in Croatia. Split Ferry Port Records 5.6 Million Passengers in 2019

January 10, 2020 - The Split Ferry Port registered a record annual turnover of 5.6 million passengers and 827,000 vehicles in 2019, the Port Authority of Split announced.
