Snakes Alive: Live Snake Exhibition Opens in Stari Grad

By 30 June 2016

The first I heard of this was a couple of months ago at The Office, when some chap who was a friend of The Professor sat with us for a cold one and told us he would have about 70 snakes, some poisonous, some not, for an exhibition in Dol this summer.

Niche, I thought to myself.

Snake tourism will officially start on Hvar tomorrow in Stari Grad, as Planet Zmija (Planet of the Snakes) opens tomorrow in the school in Stari Grad, and will be open all the way through to early September.

I don't know a lot more than that, but 10 out of 10 for originality, and I will be popping in to see what it is all about at some point. There will be King Cobras, Black Mambas, Vipers and all sorts of other snakes I am not sure I would like to be left alone with. Open daily from 10:00 to 24:00. And there is an Instragram account to whet your appetite.
