In late October, a Rovinj hotel will be receiving one of the largest investments in tourism since Croatian independence. This project will remove the old Hotel Park, replacing it with a new, super hotel with 5+ stars. The investors of the project are Adris Group, who own tourism division and hotel group Maistra. The total value of the project amounts to nearly 600 million kuna.
The new Hotel Belvedere in Dubrovnik is planned to be built on the ruins of the former hotel that was destroyed during the Siege of Dubrovnik during the War of Independence in 1991. The new hotel will have only 50 rooms, all of which will be above the five-star category.
