One of my most popular cafes in Korčula’s old town is Arula, situated right on the centre of everything going on in Korčula, on Plokata Square. For those of you with a sweet tooth, Arula offers a wonderful display of cakes and pastries, which you can wash down with a steaming cappuccino or tasty espresso. Visitors can enjoy a shaded terrace which boasts a stunning sea view, and will be happy to find that this coffee and cake institution welcomes both tourists and locals. Pro tip: they are known for making the best strudel in town!
