Moštra is a single sword dance & folk dance performance in Žrnovo village, around 5 kilometres from Korčula town. The moštra dance is performend on August 15th, the Feast of the Assumption of Mary. In the dance, the captains leads the soldiers into formations where each soldier must hold the tip of his neighbor's sword to form a single linked group. This movement is accompanied by a bagpipe and drum.
