INTERNATIONAL MARKO POLO FEST
Song and Wine Festival
The International Marko Polo Festival of Song and Wine is held in July on the ‘Plokata’ summer stage in Korčula town. The festival was founded in 1996 to honor the 700th year anniversary of the return of the famous traveler, merchant, and explorer. The festival brings together the world’s best wine producers, as well as the best Croatian and international singers over a two-day event.
The first night of the festival showcases the world's best wine producers who compete in front of a jury made up of professionals and oenologists. The wine tastings at the festival are even hosted by socialites, actors, singers, and representatives of other countries.
The International Marko Polo Festival is a wonderful opportunity to marry wine with music.
