Mljet is known for being the most forested island in the Adriatic, and most of you may know it better for its National Park which covers most of the island's area. The National Park boasts two salt lakes, a Benedictine Monastery, and is the oldest marine protected area in the Mediterranean. Visitors to Mljet can also enjoy the island’s beaches, wines, rich marine life, and history which dates back to the 6th century. It’s also just a skip away from Korčula.

Mljet is accessible from Korčula by two Kapetan Luka lines. The first line travels from Korčula to Mljet (Pomena) which runs from April to October, while the other travels from Korčula to Sobra (Mljet) from June to September. Both routes take around an hour.
Travelers can also get from Korčula to Mljet using the G&V Line. This fast boat travels from Korčula to Polače and Sobra on Mljet. This option travels to the island only during the peak season, and only on certain days of the week. You can find the 2018 timetable here.
