Korčula is an island rich in tradition, and you will not be here very long before you encounter a concert or sword dance.
The island has a number of folklore groups as well as the famous Dalmatian klapa singers, the a cappella singing that has been inscribed as intangible UNESCO heritage.
A very special evening in the village of Žrnovo tomorrow, just a few kilometres from Korčula Town, as a full programme of klapa and folklore will take place in front of the Mala Gospa church, starting at 20:30. Included in the line-up:
