The Rough, but Attractive Eastern Cape of Korčula

The very eastern tip of Korčula Island is an attractive, but rough piece of the usually welcoming shores of this Dalmatian island. Cape Ražnjić is battered by northern Bura and southern Jugo winds, but it offers steep underwater cliffs for divers to explore and is remote enough to be a favorite location for stargazers. Or those looking for some solitude in the night.

It only takes some 15 minutes of driving to get there from Korčula town, but if you are staying in the next-door Lumbarda village, you can take a leisurely stroll and also enjoy the vineyards and forest preceeding the very cape.
