The only jazz bar in Dubrovnik is one of the most popular places in Dubrovnik situated right next to the Dubrovnik Cathedral so is quite often you will have difficulties finding a seat. But no need to worry, it is common to sit (or dance!) on the stairs of the cathedral or on the floor paved with stone blocks. It is run by the Van Bloemen family who also founded Troubadours in London in 1954 but then decided to sell it in 1970 and change their address for a Dubrovnik one. Troubadour jazz bar never lets down its visitors with its energetic live music performances and a great atmosphere that bridges all languages one hears in Dubrovnik and melting them in one, which is the very essence of jazz music.
