Situated in a beautiful setting of a 16th-century family owned summer vila, Orka restaurant is an extension of the Orka café bar which has been a very popular destination among many locals. The location of the restaurant has a very special place in history of Republic of Dubrovnik since the nobility from the Old Town would build their summer houses on the Lapad coastal walk (Lapadska obala), known as a tranquil oasis offering views over Gruz Bay.
Focus of the restaurant are local ingredients and excellent Croatian wines with some of the perks such as freshly baked bread and homemade pastas. The main chef Zdravko Tomšić successfully adds a modern twist to a traditional cuisine.
Highlights: their brodetto (fish stew) is to die for!
