Nestali.hr personal information on Tonino Raic
Tonino is a young man between 175 and 180 centimeters tall and of medium build. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing black sweatpants and a black and red T-shirt, and he has brown hair and brown eyes.
As Index writes, they left in Tonino's black BMW on Saturday, while every trace of them was lost on Monday, November 7, when they last contacted their families.
According to Vecernji, the two of them are in a relationship, and they were going to Rotterdam, where Tonino allegedly had a job waiting for him. Allegedly, an acquaintance from Solin was also with them, but his disappearance has not yet been reported. They also took Tonino's dog (in his arms in the picture published by Vecernji).
"The only reliable information is that they crossed the Slovenian border. We received the last WhatsApp message on Monday at 5:26 a.m. that they would call from a new number as soon as they replaced the card. From then until today, we have not heard anything," a member of Tonino Raic's family told Večernji. He is asking all those who might have information about the young couple missing to contact the police.

November 6, 2022 - After being reported missing from Požega last week, Nsimba Luzenga Louange has still not been found.
The Congolese basketball player, Nsimba Luzenga Lousange, 25, was reported missing from Požega on October 28th. She was playing basketball for the ŽKK Plamen from Požega, and Vladimir Englman, the club's coach, reported her missing. The police have asked the public to share with them any information about her whereabouts, and her profile has been shared on the National Missing Person's Registry.
And now, after more than a week, 24 sata is reporting that she has yet not been found. Mr. Englman told them that the police were unable to confirm that she's gone across Croatian national borders (which is weird, as she is a Congolese national and her passport should be noted at every border-crossing). The coach thinks that she's decided to go somewhere to have surgery on her knee. She was recently diagnosed with anterior cruciate ligament injury. She was given the option to have surgery in Croatia, using the regular route, but he thinks that it might've been to long for her to wait until January of 2023 to have that surgery done. The coach also confirmed that he's spoken with Nsimba's manager, who has checked if she was able to return back home to the Democratic Republic of Congo - but the answer is no. So, nobody knows where she is as of now.
If you know anything about Nsimba Luzenga Louange, a missing basketball player from Congo in Požega, please notify the closest police station, call the phone number 192, or report over email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

September 22, 2021 - The missing person Peruća Lake search sadly ended with the discovery of the body of Dominik Branimir Bilobrk who went missing last Saturday.
The four-day search for the 24-year-old Dominik Branimir Bilobrk sadly ended with the worst outcome possible.
As TV network RTL reports, police confirmed that the missing young man was found dead close to the place where he left to swim through Peruća lake, an artificial lake in Dalmatia. A little over an hour away from Split by car, Peruća is the third biggest lake in the entire country.
„The boat went to pull him over and bring him to land where investigation and identifying of the victim will take place. The family is already here. They await in sorrow“, said RTL on its website on Wednesday afternoon.
As Jutarnji List reported, Dominik Branimir Bilobrk from Obrovac Sinjski (half an hour drive away from Peruća) disappeared on Saturday. At the time of his disappearance, he wore short camo cargo pants, a short-sleeved black T-shirt, and black sneakers. The description said he was of „stringer physical build, “ and he drove away from his house in a Fiat brand car.
Big search for Bilobrk started on Monday morning around Peruća lake and its surroundings. Police, along with the Croatian Mountain Rescue (HGSS), from Split's station, and HGSS divers from across Croatia joined the search to find the missing 24-year-old. Dogs, drones and boats were used to find the missing young man. Along with professionals, ordinary citizens and Bilobrk's neighbors took part in the search too. Dogs, drones, and boats were used in hopes of finding the missing young man.
Following the interview of HGSS's search leader Ante Jukić, Slobodna Dalmacija wrote on Monday that both the car and the clothes dropped a kilometer away belonged to Bilobrk.
„Every eye on the field helps. The search is specific because we are on a suspected minefield, so we have to pay attention“, said Jukić on Monday, explaining how both civilians and professional troops must be careful in that area.
The finding of th clothes and cars shifted the focus of the search to the lake Peruća. Unfortunately, the search ended with a sad ending, as the exact reasons for Bilobrk's departure remain unknown.
Nestali.hr, a governmental site where Croatians can report missing people, states that in the last 23 years, there have been more than 24 000 missing people reported.
The majority of these cases, around 70%, are related to the war in the 90s.

American Jacob Lingo: Threatening Message But Safe: FBI Involved
The Croatian National registry of missing persons has a young American national, 18-year-old Jacob Andrew Lingo listed as a person who went missing in late July, and the Croatian media is writing about his disappearance, asking anyone for help in finding him.
Jacob Andrew Lingo just graduated from high-school and came to Europe from his home in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in late June. His first stop was Vienna, Austria, and then he spent the next few weeks travelling through Switzerland, France and Italy.
On July the 19th, he left Italy to come to Zagreb by bus, explaining to his family that Italy was too expensive and that people have told him that Croatia is more affordable. All this time he has been in contact with his family. On July the 22nd he sent his family members a photo, showing that he was in Baška Voda, near Makarska.
On July the 25th, he complained that he had spent almost all of his money, and that he would spend the night on the beach to save money. His family put some more money in his bank account, but then it turned out that that was not the account he was using at all.
Nobody has seen or heard from him since July the 25th. In the entry in the registry, it says that he went missing on the 28th, but his family claims that the last known contact was on the 25th. Neither his credit card nor his phone have been used after that date.
Jacob planned to visit Split and Dubrovnik, and he was supposed to fly back home, again from Vienna, on August the 15th. Jacob is 182cm tall, medium built, has green eyes and light brown hair. His family has started a Facebook page where you can find more info on Jacob.
If you know anything about Jacob Andrew Lingo's whereabouts, please contact the local police or police through the National registry of missing persons, or the American Embassy.
