The end of March saw Dubrovnik's weather records beaten as the city basked in glorious summer-like temperatures, but change is on the way...
Sun, blue skies and above average temperatures have dominated the meteorological scene in Dubrovnik for the past few weeks, the soft turn of spring removing the grip of the the typically wet and unpredictable winter weather that the southern Adriatic city experiences at the end of each year.
The weather is expected to change over the course of this Easter weekend, bringing with it rain, thunder and a noticable drop in air temperature. There will be slightly more stable periods, with more frequent sunny spells on Monday but a significant fall in temperatures will see numbers fall from their early 20's to 11 and 15 degrees celsius, with the highest temperatures reaching a mere 14 to 19 degrees.
