Dubrovnik takes to the Hungarian tourist market!
As DuList reported on the 24th of May, 2017, Dubrovnik is being presented at Hrvatski Dani (Croatian Days) in the Hungarian capital as of yesterday until the 25th of May.
Officially inaugurated by Tourism Minister, Gari Cappelli and physically presented by the Tourist Board of the City of Dubrovnik, the UNESCO World Heritage Site is being presented alongside other Croatian destinations on varying scales of international tourism popularity, including Zadar, Sibenik, Istria, Biograd and Kvarner, as well as continential destinations such as Zagreb and Brod-Posavina County. The project is headed by the Ministry of Tourism with the cooperation of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce.
Dressed in the traditional dress of the Konavle region, Mara Nenada is presenting Croatia's southernmost city with the help of traditional local delicacies from the Dubrovnik-Neretva area, as well as providing tips, information and answering the questions of the many visitors.
As a country which shares a land border with Hungary, Croatia has always been a popular and easy-to-reach destination for Hungarian tourists. With the carefully planned presentation of the historic city held in the Central Market Hall in Budapest, a venue considered to be one of the most beautiful European markets; it is surely a worthy setting for the presentation of a city like Dubrovnik and Croatia as a whole.
