Croatia Registers 637 New COVID Cases, Seven Deaths

ZAGREB, 12 May 2022 - Croatia has recorded 637 new coronavirus cases and seven COVID-related deaths in the past 24 hours, and currently there are 4,781 active cases in the country, the national coronavirus response team reported on Thursday. 

There are 386 hospitalised patients, 17 of whom are on ventilators, and 2,348 people are self-isolating.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic in Croatia, a total of 1,129,836 COVID cases have been registered and 15,912 people have died as a consequence.

To date, a total of 4,828,304 tests have been conducted, including 4,231 in the past 24 hours.

As of 11 May, a total of 5,248,022 doses of a COVID vaccine have been administered and 59.50% of the total population has been inoculated or 70.77% of the adult population, including 68.71% of the adult population fully vaccinated.

Croatia Reports 960 New COVID-19 Cases, 6 Deaths

ZAGREB, 11 May 2022 - 6 people have died of COVID-19 and 960 new infections have been registered in Croatia in the last 24 hours, while the number of active cases stands at 4,758, the national coronavirus crisis management team said on Wednesday.

A total of 367 patients are hospitalised, including 15 who are on ventilators, while 2,154 persons are self-isolating.

A total of 4,874 persons have been tested in the last 24 hours.

To date, Croatia has registered 1,129,199 coronavirus cases, 15,905 deaths, and 68.70% of the adult population has completed vaccination.

Croatia Logs 406 New Coronavirus Cases, 7 Deaths

ZAGREB, 8 May 2022 - Croatia has recorded 406 new coronavirus cases and 7 COVID-related deaths in the last 24 hours, the national coronavirus response team reported on Sunday.

The number of active cases in the country now stands at 5,017, of whom 379 infected persons are being treated in hospital, including 16 placed on ventilators, while 2,763 persons are self-isolating.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first case was confirmed in Croatia, 1,127,742 people have been registered as having contracted the SARS-CoV-2 virus, of whom 15,888 have died and 1,106,837 have recovered, including 812 in the last 24 hours.

A total of 4,813,913 COVID-19 tests have been done to date, including 3,097 in the last 24 hours.

By Saturday, 5,246,631 vaccine doses had been administered, with 59.50% of the total population, or 70.77% of adults, having been vaccinated. A total of 2,313,643 people had received at least one dose and 2,242,454 of them had been fully vaccinated, which is 68.70% of the adult population.

Croatia Reports 961 New COVID-19 Cases, 9 Deaths

ZAGREB, 5 May 2022 - Croatia has recorded 961 new coronavirus cases and nine COVID-related deaths in the past 24 hours, the national coronavirus response team reported on Thursday.

The number of active cases in the country now stands at 5,621, and 401 patients are being treated in hospital, including 17 placed on ventilators, while 2,746 people are self-isolating.

To date, 4,804,096 people have tested for the SARS CoV-2 virus, including 4,421 in the past 24 hours.

A total of 5.24 million COVID vaccine doses have been administered, and 59.50% of the total population, or 70.76% of the adult population, have been inoculated, including 68.69% of adults fully.

ZAGREB, 4 May 2022 - Croatia has recorded 1,184 new coronavirus cases and eight COVID-related deaths in the past 24 hours, the national coronavirus response team reported on Wednesday.

The number of active cases in the country now stands at 5,334, and 411 patients are being treated in hospital, including 17 placed on ventilators, while 2,393 people are self-isolating.

To date, 4,799,675 people have tested for the SARS CoV-2 virus, including 4,730 in the past 24 hours.

A total of 5.24 million COVID vaccine doses have been administered, and 59.49% of the total population, or 70.76% of the adult population, have been inoculated, including 68.69% of adults fully.

Croatia Logs 850 New Coronavirus Cases, 9 Deaths

ZAGREB, 28 April 2022 - Croatia has registered 850 new coronavirus cases and nine COVID-related deaths in the last 24 hours, the national coronavirus response team reported on Thursday.

Currently, 425 infected persons are being treated in hospitals, including 20 placed on ventilators, while 3,512 persons are self-isolating.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first case was confirmed in Croatia, 1,120,766 people have been registered as having contracted the SARS-CoV-2 virus, of whom 15,817 have died.

A total of 4,780,298 people have tested for COVID-19 to date, including 3,956 in the last 24 hours.

By Wednesday, 5,242,249 vaccine doses had been administered, with 59.48 per cent of the total population, or 70.75 per cent of adults, having been vaccinated. A total of 2,313,013 people had received at least one dose and 2,241,598 of them had been fully vaccinated, which is 68.68 per cent of the adult population.

Croatia Reports 1,390 New Coronavirus Cases, 7 Deaths

ZAGREB, 27 April 2022 - Croatia has recorded 1,390 new coronavirus cases and seven COVID-related deaths in the last 24 hours, the national coronavirus response team reported on Wednesday.

The number of active cases in the country now stands at 5,248, of whom 435 infected persons are being treated in hospital, including 22 placed on ventilators, while 3,114 persons are self-isolating.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first case was confirmed in Croatia, 1,119,916 people have been registered as having contracted the SARS-CoV-2 virus, of whom 15,808 have died and 1,098,860 have recovered, including 264 in the last 24 hours.

A total of 4,776,342 people have tested for COVID-19 to date, including 5,413 in the last 24 hours.

By Tuesday, 5,241,301 vaccine doses had been administered, with 59.48% of the total population, or 70.74% of adults, having been vaccinated. A total of 2,312,896 people had received at least one dose and 2,241,380 of them had been fully vaccinated, which is 68.67% of the adult population.

Croatia Reports 560 New Coronavirus Cases, 4 Deaths

ZAGREB, 24 April 2022 - In the last 24 hours, 560 coronavirus cases, out of 2,989 tests, and four related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Sunday.

There are 4,505 active cases, including 455 hospitalised patients, of whom 23 are on ventilators, while 3,041 persons are self-isolating.

To date, Croatia has registered 1,117,735 coronavirus cases and the death toll stands at 15,782.

Croatia Reports 1,301 New Coronavirus Cases, 8 Deaths

ZAGREB, 21 April 2022- In the last 24 hours 1,301 coronavirus cases and eight related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Thursday.

There are 4,343 active cases, including 492 hospitalised patients, of whom 23 on ventilators, while 2,163 persons are self-isolating.

Croatia Logs 478 New Coronavirus Cases, 5 Deaths

ZAGREB, 20 April 2022 - In the last 24 hours, 478 coronavirus cases, out of 3,861 tests, and 5 related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Wednesday. 

There are 3,623 active cases, including 516 hospitalised patients, while 1,878 persons are self-isolating.

To date, Croatia has registered 1,114,141 coronavirus cases, the death toll is 15,757, and 70.73% of the adult population has been vaccinated, including 68.65% who are considered to be fully vaccinated.
