This gallery is located on the second floor of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, a stunning building between Zrinjevac and Tomislavac parks in central Zagreb. The building was built in 1884 to accommodate Bishop Josip Juraj Strossmayer’s art collection, which now encompasses religious paintings from the 14th to the 19th ct, as well as paintings painted by Old Masters.
