With its 5.66 km, Ilica is the third longest street in Zagreb. It is also one of the oldest and busiest streets in Zagreb, and home to many shops and cultural sites. It connects Ban Jelačić Square and various government buildings on its east end, to theatres, markets, and Zagreb’s first brewery at its west end, which is why it is rightfully considered one of the main arteries of the city.
Ilica is undoubtedly one of the city’s main symbols and a favourite among the people of Zagreb.
