The Sounds of Bugs, which is on display until July, 2017 will thrill all children, but even if they don’t like bugs, they will surely find something interesting among 2 million artefacts, 1,1 million out of which are animals. There are also various mineral and plant collections, as well as two exhibits in the atrium: Rock Map of Croatia and the Geological Pole. The Museum is home to the remains of the  Neanderthal from Krapina, which will be fun for kids who are into history.

Tuesday, Wednesdy, Friday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Thursday: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Sunday: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Closed on Mondays and holidays.

When it comes to other museums, Archaeological Museum is especially interesting because of the Egyptian mummy exhibited there, Museum of Illusions will thrill children because of their optical illusions and games; kids who are into science will love the submarine, planes, cars, planetarium and Tesla lab at the Technical Museum; Zagreb City Museum will be fun because of their interactive exhibits, and the huge slide at the Museum of Contemporary Art will be a hit among kids and parents alike.
