Uniforms in Zagreb Schools after Easter

By 22 February 2017

50% of primary schools in Zagreb have chosen to introduce school uniforms, with some schools opting for t-shirts, and others for shirts to be part of the uniform.

The topic which attracted much debate, and which we wrote about here, has finally been concluded, with half the schools deciding that introducing the uniforms is a good thing.

The 10 million kn for the uniforms will be financed from the City of Zagreb Budget and URIHO, institution for vocational rehabilitation and employment for persons with disabilities, will be in charge of making them. The schools will be able to participate in the process of designing the uniforms and they should become part of the schools' dress codes after Easter, April 16.
