Free WiFi on ZET Buses

By 12 March 2017

Great news for everyone with limited data plans on their smartphones: after Večernji reported that the Free WiFi pilot project would be introduced in several ZET trams in January, Jutarnji reported earlier today that ZET buses would also be included in the project. The first buses with wifi available onboard will be the 109 bus.

The project of introducing free wifi on trams wasn’t limited to a single line, but it was made available in several trams which change lines in order to check if the passengers are really interested in using it.
A ZET spokesperson confirmed that the project has beenvery successful and that the most frequently visited pages were Facebook, free messaging services Viber and WhatsApp and several news portals. Additionally, works on installing the infrastructure necessary for making wifi available on tram and bus stops (starting with Ljubljanica) are already underway.

Trams with free wifi are marked by stickers inside and once you connect to wifi, you’re redirected to ZET website, so you can check all transport related news and timetables.

Free wifi

Wifi is available to everyone on trams and buses, and it is not time-limited nor does it depend on whether you have bought or validated your tram ticket or not.
