One of the most attractive summer terraces in Zagreb is opening for the season
We recently wrote about the best summer terraces in the city. Here's another one: Vintage Industrial bar and Kavez club at Savska Street kick off with their summer garden on Thursday, 1 June, starting at 9 PM!
Everyone's invited to celebrate the opening with a live show of Domagoj Šimek, known from the bands She Loves Pablo and Muscle Tribe of Danger and Excellence.
This year, the Vintage Industrial crew plans to liven up the summer garden with concerts, gastronomic events, and film and theatre programmes that will take place from June through September, depending on the weather. The entrance on Thursday is free - you're only kindly asked to bring some potted flowers to add to the decor.
While we're at it, Vintage and Kavez are obviously diving in head first into the whole summer concept, as the opening is followed by a two-day whiskey fair! Cleverly titled Whiskey Affair, the event will present you with a large number of whiskey brands at promotional prices, accompanied by Vintage Plac with their excellent burgers to make sure you don't get too tipsy too soon.
The first day of the fair, 2 June, will have The Cool Shakes playing, while Saturday is reserved for a Beatles tribute band and a DJ music session to keep you entertained until 5 in morning. We're in for a wild ride of three days packed with music, good food and even better whiskeys – just make sure to get some sleep along the way, okay?
