Why did the peacock cross the road?
A glorious peacock crossing the road is not something you see every day, but it happened in Zagreb yesterday, 24 sata reports.
To everyone's amazement, the peacock strutted down Maksimirska, waited for the tram to pass and then crossed the road at a pedestrian crossing.
Nobody knows how the peacock got there, but the ZOO is located close, so maybe it simply decided to take a walk. We hope it got back home safely!
