Bear in mind that there's a new traffic regulation if you're driving in Zagreb's Trešnjevka neighbourhood.
Kranjčevićeva, a street in Zagreb’s Trešnjevka neighbourhood, recently became the second street in the city with shared space for cycling and driving, H-alter reports. The only other shared space road can be found in Gajeva, in the centre of Zagreb.
Completely new pavement markings have been added, with a special part of the road (in red) designed for cyclists in front of the traffic lights, where cars mustn’t be parked at while waiting for the lights to change.

The recommended speed of 30 km/h caused outrage among the drivers, some of whom have commented that it is too slow, and cyclists don’t seem to be too happy about it either because, as they say, they would feel safer having their own separate lane.
