Zagreb has a cool new place where you can get a great cup of coffee.
Zagreb has a lot to offer when it comes to charming little coffee places, and we're happy to say that there's one more addition to the selection - Program.
"Well what kind of program?" my friend asked when I told her we should go check out Program.
Martićeva is the new "it" street in town and a place where you can find cool bookstores such as Booksa, a steampunk bar - Mr. Fogg, and where one of the most amazing festivals in the city takes place - Design District Zagreb.
So, it's only natural that a cool new place opens in a cool street.
It's a charming small place, with an "industrial design" vibe, literally - pieces of scaffolding and construction material are there to serve a purpose.
Coffee was really good - Lavazza, creamy and with a rich foam.
Some of the tables were made using bags of gypsum, known for its Knauf eponym in Croatia and the menus are stuck on the back of trowels.
You can find pieces of scaffolding everywhere.
Even the lighting is made from repurposed tools.
In addition to great coffee, Program also has a decent selection of wines and a few types of craft beer.
Stop by Martićeva 14f and see what's on
